Colibri coruscans Sparkling Violetear

A large and striking bright green hummingbird featuring a distinctive violet-blue patch on its belly and ear coverts. It is highly territorial, vocal, and aggressive towards other hummingbirds in Andean habitats. It adapts well to urban gardens, forest edges, and high-altitude scrublands.
